Here I Go
Hey guys! If your wondering why there is a logo of the Marco Island Marriot right here is because I am going to be going there. I am leaving on Sunday March 29, 2009. So while I am on my awesome trip, I am going to be posting more things in my free time over there. And also, the Marriott company says that I have to do 2 blog posts on my website! Isn't that AWESOME!? That means that they saw my website. I feel so special. Well just keep telling your BFFs to keep visiting my website! And who knows. I might become famous? ( Marriott company, this is not one of the 2 blog posts)

New Gadgets
"Last year, as prents, we relented and finally got our daughter a cellphone at the age of 12; with unlimited texting of course and a new plan with 3000 minutes for the family!. We stayed with Sprint as a cost saving measure (free phones, yada, yada, yada), but long for the iPhone which still runs circles around the Samsung equivalent. Fortunately, we have a very responsible pre-teen who cherishes the privilege of being able to have a cellphone. I always worry about internet, predators out there and the like.
Yesterday, half a year into her 13th year of life, she bought herself a digital camera with money saved from Christmas, Birthday, and Allowance savings. Although I hate paying for extended warranties, I sprung for that, just in case (it is her first camera). She bought a pink Sony Cybershot camera (blue was available online only) at Staples, where they had an immediate discount. After the longerthan expected first charge of the battery (5 hours), we went to a park to try it out. It is amazing in every aspect; high quality pictures, VERY EASY to use, etc. The software installed (we put in Windows XP whose install wizard is nothing short of tedious) was very easy to use. She even connected the camera to the TV for an awesome slideshow.
Alas, my little girl is growing up very quickly. At least there are still a few years from, "Daddy, I can I borrow the car?"
